We met at the park across the street then walked as a group over to the temple. It was very busy because it was a Saturday afternoon, and since I don't do well with crowds and chaos, I got a little crazy when they wanted to have all the kids touch the wall by the door. There were kids just wandering and one poor man about tripped 3 times just getting in the door, so I pulled my mean voice out and moved everyone to a spot in the yard away from all the commotion. We took a group picture then walked back to the park for refreshments. It really was fun to see Braelyn and to be able to show her the beautiful temple and talk about how she will get to go there one day. She was very well-behaved and I was proud of her. I felt very grateful that we live so close to so many sacred places, and get the blessings of having our children grow up in their shadows.

Primary Activity
For our primary activity this spring they planned a visit to the temple grounds and had Pres Kauffman speak to us. I brought Braelyn even though she isn't officially in Sunbeams yet, she has a January birthday so she had to wait another year. We had a fun time getting into our dresses and she wanted a special necklace after she saw me putting mine on, so we picked out one of my young women medallions with a girl praying on it. We talked about how it was a very special necklace to mommy and how it would remind her to be very reverent at the temple. We are very blessed because we get to drive past the temple most days, and Braelyn has always liked pointing it out, and talking about how Jesus lives there. Recently she has also started talking about how we got married there. She also thinks that is where Elder Greg lives, and that we will go inside to get him when it's time for him to come home. She kept asking me who was getting married today, and I told her that we would probably see some brides taking pictures outside. She thought since she was going to the temple that she would be getting married, and kept asking me if her friend Peter would be there so she could get married.
