Day at Home

I thought it might be easier for me to write things on the computer, because I haven't been too great at journaling on paper. Today I am off work and have been able to spend the day at home with Braelyn. I truly love being with her. She is such a joy, and has such a sweet spirit. She has been her busy self today, but has been very easy to be around. I found her out on the couch this morning when I woke up singing. She loves to say good morning and it is my favorite thing to hear her tell me, "Morning, mama." And she always has a huge hug in the morning. We went and got a drink and got her a sucker after breakfast. She likes to jump down the stairs outside our condo, and she jumped to high this morning and bumped her head on the rail. After we get down the stairs she always wants to run to the car, and I have to try and keep up. It is nice that she can walk on her own now and just hold my hand cause she is getting so big, but I still carried her upstairs because it was cold and windy and I don't want her to get chilly! She has a fleece hat with a pom-pom on top and chin strap, and whenever she puts it on she says Ho, Ho, Ho. It cracks me up every time. She looks so adorable with it on. We had pancakes for breakfast and she calls them Minnie Mouse because Munga made her one shaped like Minnie a long time ago, and she remembers everything. I just adore her and can't believe how quickly things go by.

On the other hand, time being pregnant seems to just stop. I know I need to wait so the baby can keep gorwing and be healthy, but I can't wait until I am not pregnant anymore. I just get bigger and bigger, and now my scrubs barely fit. People always feel the need to comment on pregnant women's bodies (I have no idea why) and though most are nice, I just wish people would keep their thoughts to themselves. I know that I am big, and I know that I waddle. I'm not pointing out their bodies. Oh well. This baby still has no inkling of a name, but we started talking about it last night, Kevin even wanted to search names with me which was nice of him. I guess he was up late with Braelyn. He always takes his turn, which is nice because I always feel sleep deprived. It has been a huge struggle lately, getting Braelyn to sleep. We aren't very consistent because we hate to see her upset, and we don't put her to bed early because we want playtime after work. I hope we can work on that after I am done working, which will be in 1 month! Yea for me, I am so excited to stay home! We are also potty training and have had lots of ups and downs with that, but I think we are headed for the better part. I am so greateful my mom has been willing to stick with it, she has had to clean up a lot more accidents than I have, and I think we would be back in diapers if it weren't for her help sticking with it. She is so supportive of everything I do as a mom, I am very lucky to have that kind of support because a two-year old can be exceptionally challenging.

I am nervous about our condo now, I wish we had a crystal ball and could tell if we should rent it or get out now. We haven't had much luck, but I had an agent tell me today that the market has improved 25% this week. It is hard to be agressive about getting anything done when I am pregnant, (I would have made a terrible pioneer) but I think if we get really serious we can be out by April. I try and not get emotinal about it, but it is really hard to think about leaving here because it is where we have spent most of our married life and where we have raised Brae, I just have to remember that the experiences, not to mention my family, all come with me wherever I go.

I better go, I have spent too much time figuring out these computer things today!
